With the new company “Kiel Macedonia”, located in Zhelino (Tetovo), Kiel will continue its engagement for their customers, by producing (mainly: cutting & sewing, upholstering, final assembly) seats for buses.

For our new company in Macedonia at the site in Zelino, we currently have an opening for an experienced:

Plant Manager/ General Manager (m/f)

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing, managing and evolving Kiel Macedonia
  • Full responsibility for process results at KIEL Macedonia
  • Lead a team of about 45 employees, white- and blue collar
  • Monitoring KPI‘s and report to central executive in Germany
  • Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
  • Planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives annually, and submitting time projections to corporate management for approval
  • Overseeing the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete, accurate and submitted on time to the corporate management
  • Take care of costumer requests

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production technology or similar qualifications in technical surroundings
  • Academic qualifications are complemented by a long-standing professional experience, which is preferably gained in the production or automotive industry
  • Ability and the background to operate a smaller company in all areas
  • Knowledge of the national language and regional manners are required
  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
  • Good knowledge of English in speaking, reading and writing. German would be an advantage
  • Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and familiar with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
  • Proven competence in planning and the ability to stay in good  contact with customers, suppliers and business partners
  • Software knowledge: MS Office applications, ERP software (preferably SAP R/3)
  • Personal Skills: Initiative, teamwork, leadership, flexibility and organizational skills
